Initial Comment:
My data model:
class Eployee { 
  long id; 
  float salary; 
  Department dept;
}
class Department {
  long id;
  String name;
}

My JDO query:
select this.dept.name, avg(this.salary)
from Employee this
groupby this.dept.name

The MEDOR querytree seems to be right but the optimization fails because "too
many children for this Nest node" from the Nest constructor (l82)
