JMS/JDBC resources transaction management

Hello All,

I have below requirement in tomcat 5.5 server.

Requirement is to access/retrieve the Message from the JMS destination, 
publish this to another destination after processing and update the database 
and all need to be done in one transaction.

At present my queues are configured in weblogic 8.1 server. However these may 
be moved to another infrastructure.

Do I need my resources (JMS resources Queue etc.. JDBC resources database, 
table etcc..) support the transaction management?

Please provide your inputs.
