Dear FraSCAti users,A quick message to mention a new feature with version 0.4.4-SNAPSHOT of Tinfi: unannotated POJO components are now supported.
With respect to the SCA specifications, a small limitation is that one can not have a POJO with polymorphic setters, i.e. a POJO which owns for example a property and a reference with the same name (which leads to a polymorphic setNNN method.) Of course, POJO with properties and references with different names are supported.
This limitation should be removed in the future. In the meantime, IHMO that shouldn't be a big limitation: I don't expect to bump into tons of POJO which would fall in the category of the limitation. If that wasn't the case, don't hesitate to let me know and I'll raise the priority of the task in my TODO list for implementing the code which will remove the limitation ;-)
Although I haven't checked (sorry about that), this new feature should be transparent for the Assembly Factory (in the sense that the Assembly Factory shouldn't need any modification to support POJO components.)
