Yes indeed
Ok. Cool.
You can see the jcr version quite easily in the server lib, I guess you have
this one exo.jcr.component.core-1.8.3.jar
Of course :-). Duh!
btw, Portal 2.2 should be released by the end of July (we are in the QA phase)
and ECM 2.1 during August (with 2 new features too like UI for Auditing and UI
for publication status on docs)
This JCR 1.9 release is really an important one and that is why we are
upgrading quite quickly
Excellent. Any chance you’ll
be fixing this bug: http://jira.exoplatform.org/browse/PORTAL-1690?
This one makes it virtually impossible to layout a page using the traditional
UI….

Hmmm.. OK. So, in my exo libs
path, the only Lucene file is lucene-1.4.3.jar. So, I'm guessing that my
current bundle doesn't use JCR 1.9, so I need to wait for the update to the
portal and ECM?

Hi all
Indeed JCR 1.9 is based on one of the latest version of lucene
We are also currently working on Portal 2.2, ECM 2.1 and CS 1.1 that will all
be based on that new version
Stay tuned :)

Hi,
2008/7/12 Kito D. Mann <kmann@xxxxxxxxxx>:
Hello,
I'd like to use the latest version of Lucene (I use Compass, which depends on
Lucene). However, eXo uses a very old version (which is in the app
server's classpath).
JCR 1.9 uses Lucene 2.2. Lucene 2.3.2 is a latest. Not so very old :)
I'd prefer to have a recent version in the classpath rather than worry about
putting it in the portlet app's directory. Are there any plans to upgrade to a
more recent version of Lucene?
