That's good to hear. We've been having trouble replicating the dev environment on Nick's  machine. Basically, we run a build script that copies web.xml and the database config files to the portal web app (we have a couple of filters) and also copies several libraries to the tomcat lib directory, as well as a portlet app that uses the MyFaces Portlet Bridge (the one from JSR 301).

Good to know, would be curious to see some screenshots as soon as you will disclose them :)

It think we're going to roll back to the last build. How volatile is the code base currently? Do you think you're nearing a beta of the portal? Also, what's the state of the collaboration suite? I'm mostly interested in the forums, but they still don't seem complete yet…

The Portal 2.0 is already in RC2 state and no feature nor large bug fixe has been added since one month as it is based on the stabilized 2.0 branch which is not available from OW2 but as part of the subscription.

If you are interested we can provide you a link with the Portal 2.0 and ECM 2.0 RC2 part of the subscription to test them.

eXo CS 1.0 should be in RC 1 state within the next 2 weeks.

Also note that the Forum is now part of a new product called eXo KS and will be released a bit later but its current state is close to beta

On OW2 you can get the last devs all together but will not get any beta nor final release there

 

Hmmm.. okay, so the builds we’re getting from OW2 aren’t the latest, stable builds? If not, what are they? Which version is build r11432? If you could clarify the relationship between the builds, that would help…

I'm running exo-eXoUltimateProduct-r11432-tomcat on Ubuntu 7.10.
Exo starts up normally prior to deploying my application.  After
deploying the app and restarting eXo, I get messages like this in stderr:

     SEVERE: Context [/portal] startup failed due to previous errors

The failure seems to be traceable to this exception:

    java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.exoplatform.ecm.application.JcrSessionListener

I do not find this class in any of the 128 jars in the <exo home>lib directory.
