[mailto:patrice.lamarque@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Hi, For what I have seen (Benjamin correct me if i am wrong),
this portlet is meant to display a form and a save button that stores the
content in the JCR in a predefined place. Hmm.. is this currently part of the ECM distribution?
Ok.
Well, I’d like to migrate the old articles, but also
provide an easy-to-use platform for future articles. Right now the editing
process is done in Word, and then the file is converted to a simple but
proprietary XML format once it’s gone through the editing process. The
files are translated via XSLT into JSPs for display on the site. For that kind of goal I would clearly advise the ECM feature
as it can be used for complex but also very simple process...furthermore all is
already implemented :) On Dec 17, 2007, at 6:35 PM, Kito D. Mann wrote:
Hello, I’d
like to have a lightweight solution for writing article-like content and having
it pass through a simple workflow (post->edit->publish). At first glance,
this looks like a good task for the ECM, but I fear the ECM is too complicated
for this process. I’m specifically interested in using this for managing
original content on JSFCentral. I’m also considering using xWiki for this
purpose. Any suggestions? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -- You receive this message as a subscriber of the exoplatform@xxxxxxx mailing list.
