Hi,

You may have a look at a portlet called 'fast content creator'. It may be helpfull for easy posting.

For what I have seen (Benjamin correct me if i am wrong), this portlet is meant to display a form and a save button that stores the content in the JCR in a predefined place.

Hmm.. is this currently part of the ECM distribution?

Then, you can easily fire a workflow process using ECM actions.
Let me know if I am not clear enough...

Ok.

I am interested to know a bit more about your needs.
If I understand well, you want to migrate your old articles from JSFCentral into exo ECM.
How do you plan import them into ECM ? Are the articles raw html contents ?

Well, I’d like to migrate the old articles, but also provide an easy-to-use platform for future articles. Right now the editing process is done in Word, and then the file is converted to a simple but proprietary XML format once it’s gone through the editing process. The files are translated via XSLT into JSPs for display on the site.

For that kind of goal I would clearly advise the ECM feature as it can be used for complex but also very simple process...furthermore all is already implemented :)

Hello,

I’d like to have a lightweight solution for writing article-like content and having it pass through a simple workflow (post->edit->publish). At first glance, this looks like a good task for the ECM, but I fear the ECM is too complicated for this process. I’m specifically interested in using this for managing original content on JSFCentral. I’m also considering using xWiki for this purpose. Any suggestions?
