As i've got the same problem i've looked for a bundle with ldap support, but
there is currently no bundle featuring ldap connection. Is there a reason for
this?

I've also tried to checkout the latest svn trunk (because there the ldap
configuration is built in) but I haven't managed to get it working.

It would be great if someone could create a bundle with ldap support.
