Hi all ! The Mozilla foundation announced last Friday a new initiative whose name is "Prism". Its goal is to running web application on your desktop. It's an alternative to AIR of Adobe, and SilverLight of Microsoft. In fact, it's more standard. "Prism" not created a new language. So you can use HTML, JavaScript, CSS... You can find information here : http://www.infoq.com/news/2007/10/mozilla-labs-announces-prism prism site : http://labs.mozilla.com/2007/10/prism/ Prism will be based on "WebRunner", which allow you to launch your web application without using you web browser... WebRunner site : http://wiki.mozilla.org/WebRunner So I imagine it can be cool for launching SpagoBI or WebOS. I try the SpagoBI with webrunner and it's very interesting to immerse the user in a "SpagoBI World" ! If you want to test it : - download webrunner : http://wiki.mozilla.org/WebRunner#Installer - spagobi.webapp : http://www.altic.org/demo/spagobi.webapp Cheers. -- Charly CLAIRMONT ________________________________________________________________________ CTO ALTIC, une ALTernative à votre système d'Information et de Communication mail : charly.clairmont@xxxxxxxxx mob : +33(0)661736013 tel : +33(0)870286663 site : www.altic.org
