Sure, just remove <value-storages> element for workspace conf in exo-jcr-config.xml and everything will be stored in main workspace data container ( i.e. MySQL DB in your case)

I'm looking for exo-jcr-config.xml: in the standard distribution, there is the SimpleFileValueStorage value-storage in this file, that points to /temp/values/production i.e.

Should I change this class with my own implementation?
