maven exo plugin and filters

Hi community,

I need to have a different configuration.xml according to my target environment (eg: dev and production use a different 
DB configuration).

I am using maven2 exo plugin for v2.x to build my portal.
Does the plugin support something like maven2 war plugin web resources 
filters?

I am sure many of you have had this issue already, how do you solve it ?
