Hi,
Here is some sample to access the JCR within a portlet :
PortalContainer container = PortalContainer.getInstance();
RepositoryService repositoryService = (RepositoryService)
container.getComponentInstanceOfType(RepositoryService.class);
Session jcrSession = repositoryService.getRepository().getSystemSession
("production"); // I use system session to avoid having user restriction
on the JCR, you can get other workspaces as well like "draft"
Node root = jcrSession.getRootNode();
