Hi Jeremie,
I'm providing some hints for your two first questions-
The navigation Portlet automatically renders the nodes defined for your
user and the communities he belongs to. I'm afraid there is no way to split
its content into different parts. One solution consists in customizing it.
The corresponding code is located at "v2.x/exo-portal/portlets/web".
For your second problem, try to hide the node from the navigation. To do
so, tick the "invisible" checkbox in the add/edit node dialog. The URL you
might want to include in your content pages is identical to the one you see
when clicking an item in the navigation Portlet (that is
"http://[host]:[port]/[portal]/faces/[access]/[user]/[navigation_node_1]/[navigation_node_2]/.../[navigation_node_3]").

questions about eXoplatform utilization
27/03/2007 11:50
hi community,
I have several questions in different issue that I didn't sovled for the
moment
is it possible to use more than one navigation portlet with different
content ? (the aim is to have two or three different menus) where can I
configure it?
which concept do I have to investigate in order to put Urls in page
content, (I would like to access to an exo page which is not in the
navigation portlet.)
finally, I have a problem with the RssPortlet, in fact I would like to
create an Rss feed , I know it's feasable with referencable files such
as exo:articles,etc...
but this time I would like to create an rss feed with uploaded xml
files. the problem is how to make them referencable? do I have to create
a new file type that would match with the architecture of our xml files?
any idea?
thanks for all your valuable help!
best regards
