Sorry for the late response, unfortunately I cannot currently use my computer as much as I wish :-).

I took the opportunity of your question to add a database section in the eXo-Bonita user documentation site. It explains how to change the database backend and takes PostgreSQL 8.1 as an example. Please browse the "Advanced topics -> Database configuration" section in the left hand side pane of this page : http://docs.exoplatform.org/exo-documents/exo-ecm.services.workflow.impl.bonita/index.html (expect some hours before the documentation site is rebuilt and the new section is available).

 

Perhaps you should try to reproduce the described steps and tell me if the errors appear again.
