Internet explorer problems

It looks like IE and Firefox don't display the data in the same way...
[ok, no big news here:)].
ECM content browser will not display the same in Firefox and IE.
If the width of the page is constrained in a css stylesheet (e.g.
community.css), then IE doesn't display correctly the article (see
attachment).
To fix this one has either/or
1. make the margin 0 px for .community .content-browser-portlet in
content-browser-portlet.css
2. modify the .vm files so for the summary/image part the ratios are
29/69 or less. (may be the eXo distribution could provide a good
compromise...)
Please let me know if there are other better ways...

PS If interesting I can provide a set of files which could be used to
reproduce the problem easily: html plus the asociated css files...
