Hi

Try to build and understand the deployment model if you want to have  
the most flexible package. Fopr that check exo-product-ecm.xml. Using  
the same method you can make all the packaging you want very easily  
Portal + JCR only for example.

You don't need to be patient if you go to the source directly :)
