Réf. : Re: [exoplatform] eXo v2 RC and new eXo TSS article

Hi Legolas,

Hopefully, the waiting was not too long :-).

The Platform provides a core environment containing basic services
leveraged by eXo products. For instance: security, database, organization.
eXo Portal is built on top of that and adds services dedicated to the
portal environment, such as the portlet container.

Here are some answers I can provide:

2) Yes, eXo is fully localizable and leverages resource bundles. The
following link describes internationalization in the current eXo
documentation:
http://www.exoplatform.com/portal/faces/public/exo/home/community/wiki?portal:componentId=wiki&portal:type=render&portal:isSecure=false&action=view&topic=DocV1.Manageinternationalisationresources.
And the following link describes how to support new custom languages:
http://www.exoplatform.com/portal/faces/public/exo/home/community/wiki?portal:componentId=wiki&portal:type=render&portal:isSecure=false&action=view&topic=DocV1.Setuporaddanewlanguagesupport.

3) Yes, eXo supports WSRP, both as server and as client.

 4) eXo relies on Hibernate version 3 for persistant storage.

Thank you for this release ,
can you please explain difference between platform and Portal server ?
and can some one answer my questions :
1-does it support RTL , LTR in Locale change ? for example Hebrew is
right to left , english is left to right , can exo handle it when some
one change the locale
2-does it support full localization ? all labels , menus .... ?
3- Does it support WSRP ?
4-what is its database persistence mechanism , Hibernate ,JDBC DAO...?

Thank you very much.
