Hi Scott,
Do you deploy separatly exo.ear and wiki.war? If yes, your problem may be
due to the fact that exo.ear and xwiki.war are loaded by different
classloaders. The XWiki webapp invokes a listener contained by exo.ear,
which is consequently not accessible. Perhaps you should try to manually
modify exo.ear to include xwiki.war.
By the way, if you are not tied to JBoss, I had to write a small memo on
XWiki deployment in JOnAS. I can email it to you. Let me know if you are
interested.

[exoPlatform] xWiki install
30/11/2005 11:09
Hello everybody.
I have been using xWiki for a long time now, and recently decided to try
xWiki portlet in the exoPlatform.
First stumbling block is the documentation.
I managed to find these documents for the xWiki - exoPlatform installation
http://www.exoplatform.com/xwiki/bin/view/DocV1/XWikiInstallation
Yes I know that the exo Platform does run in Apache Tomcat, but it also
runs in JBoss and Jonas. The configuration for xWiki on these two app
servers is not contained in the XWikiInstallation document.
[What I have done so far]
I have gone through the exoplatform mail list archives to find similar
problems but did not find anything related to this issue.
I have downloaded the exoPlatform xWiki.war, renamed it and placed it in my
JBoss default deployment directory.
I have copied my database driver to the /jboss/server/default/lib
directory.
I have made the relevant changes to the MySQL database to enable the xWiki
user for exo.
When I startup the JBoss app server the deployment of the exo.ear starts
first and then JBoss tries to deploy the xWiki.war. The error I get is
listed below:
12:05:19,769 INFO [TomcatDeployer] deploy, ctxPath=/jmx-console,
warUrl=file:/C:/temp/jboss/server/default/deploy/jmx-console.war/
12:05:41,380 INFO [TomcatDeployer] deploy, ctxPath=/xwiki,
warUrl=file:/C:/temp/jboss/server/default/tmp/deploy/tmp50126xwiki-exp.war/
12:05:47,679 ERROR [[/xwiki]] Error configuring application listener of
class
org.exoplatform.services.portletcontainer.impl.servlet.PortletApplicationListener
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:
org.exoplatform.services.portletcontainer.impl.servlet.PortletApplicationListener
at
org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoader.loadClass(WebappClassLoa
der.java:1332)
If I remove the xWiki war file, the exo platform ear is loaded corrcetly,
and without errors.
Does anyone know what can do to resolve this problem?
Many thanks
Scott.
