Hello List, I am totaly new on exo and I want to develop and deploy a JSR168 portlet as WSRP service into exo portal. I tried to look at the documentation, but I did not find any sample application which could serve for starting developing my services. I already developed some JSR168 compliant portlets and deployed them successfully under exo, but: · What makes a JSR 168 portlet to be deployed as WSRP service? · Are the modifications to be done only on the configuration files (web.xml and portlet.xml) or are there modifications to be made on the code of the portlet itself? If there are some modifications, which one are they? · I use Exo portal v2; do I have to code or instantiate a producer myself once my portlet is deployed, or is exo able to do it automatically with the properties given in the configuration files? · Is there something to configure in the portlet container to activate the wsrp container (like in v1) or is it already configured? I didn’t find any properties to activate in tomcat to make this happen · I looked at the wsrp.war you supply in the portlet container archive, but I did not find what exactly makes that exo deploys them as wsrp instead of JSR168 portlet apps. Apart from that, the wsrp portlets given in that archive are too complex for a first application
Finally, I would like to have a sample wsrp application (for example which returns a “hello world” or something like that) to understand what exactly I have to configure to make my JSR168 portlets be deployed as wsrp services. Does anybody has such a sample application or is this application supplied with the package (did I miss it?). Last question: I did not find any documentation on the v2 of the platform (only documentation of v1 is available on the objectforge web site). Is this documentation still valid for the V2? Is the documentation of the v2 still in progress or available somewhere else?
Thanks a lot for all your replies.
Alexandre
