Hello Brice, Hmm.. I’m glad that this is in the bug tracker (http://jira.exoplatform.org/browse/PORTAL-1479)
– it’s a pretty big issue. I don’t want to use an Apache-dependent solution; do you
think urlrewritefilter (http://code.google.com/p/urlrewritefilter/)
would work? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Join me at JSFOne (http://www.jsfone.com)!

[mailto:brice.revenant@xxxxxxxxx] Hi Kito, This task looks difficult, as eXo assumes the context
path is "/portal" internally. That said, there were customers of
us who achived it using Apache mod_substitute. They did that for changing the
URL for something different than the root context, but I see no reason why it
wouldn't work in your case.
Event if the article is in French, it gives the
mod_substitute configuration file, which should be the most important if you'd
like to implement a similar solution. HTH -Brice. On Wed, Jul 30, 2008 at 2:00 AM, Kito D. Mann <kmann@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote: So, I've been trying to map eXo to the root Tomcat context (so that URLs
start with "/" instead of "/portal/"), and it seems to
break things. Is this possible? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Join me at JSFOne (http://www.jsfone.com)!
