[clif] Re: RE: migration from CVS to SVN

Thank you Thomas for your answer.
We got only two answers, but both are positive answers, and I assume nobody is against the repository migration to SVN. As a matter of fact, CLIF may be regarded as late with respect to this migration since many projects already moved a long time ago.

I've officially asked OW2's forge administrator to proceed with this migration. I guess commiting will be disabled during this migration. We'll keep you informed.

Best regards,

Objet : [clif] migration from CVS to SVN

Hello,

Now SVN is widely used and SVN tools are widely available and mature, I would
like to propose that we migrate the CLIF project repository from CVS to SVN.
One of the main motivations for this is that the we target a repository
reorganization to fit the new features offered by Eclipse with regard to
plug-in development since version 3.3. It will make the maintenance of CLIF
plug-ins for Eclipse much more easier. As you know, moving files and
directories is possible with SVN, not with CVS.
