Log message:
        Somehow, DefaultApplicationAssembler was 1.8.  the latest CVS at 
b.e.org is 1.12.  The 1.8 version is missing all kinds of fixes.  In fact, I 
almost totally rearranged the file when I made it so assembler files wouldn't 
be loaded via File IO.  This is very worrysome because now we have to expect 
that all other files are in the same boat.  We may have to do a source-wide 
file diff against the b.e.org source to make sure this didn't happen 
elsewhere.  I have this sinking feeling it did, though.
        
        Here is version 1.12 from b.e.org.
