Hi
acceloers, I am not an
active acceleo developer but I watch discussion closely. I am more an
acceleo
user who have used acceleo in several projects. One critic that I made
to the
acceleo toolkit was that acceleo templates were not so easy to
distinguish
because of the blue colour. I am glad to read that you have planned to
use colors. I
just want to discuss one point about the “<%” and “%>” tags. If I
understand well, users will be able to distinguish Acceleo statements
thanks to
several colors (one for the loop statement, another for the conditional
statement). Hence, the “<%” and “%>” tags will not be the crucial
information that users will analyse for understanding acceleo
templates. As user, I know that things both tagged and colour coded are
specific acceleo statements by the end. Actually,
I assume that the acceleo parser requires those tags. Thanks to tags,
users specify
acceleo statements to the parser. Thanks to colors, the parser notifies
recognized
statements to users. Hence, what
about reducing the character size of those tags in order to facilitate
the
template reading It is just
a user suggestion. I am not aware of technical constraints for such
feature. Fred Jonathan MUSSET a écrit : Hi everybody, -- Frédéric THOMAS Service Outils Logiciels CEA-List Saclay, Bât 451, p. 32A 91191 Gif sur yvette Cedex FRANCE Tel : 01 69 08 17 75 |
